stockholm vasteras airport guideStockholm Vasteras Airport (code: VST) has a tiny terminal that handles a few low-cost routes. Facilities are limited to a combination cafe/newsstand on the landside and a snack bar and duty-free on the airside. WiFi is available for a fee.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airport Hours

The airport terminal is open 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon – Fri) • 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Sat-Sun).

Airport Hotels

If sleeping in Västerås airport sounds like a nightmare, there are a few small hotels near the terminal.  For more options, the city of Västerås is only a 10+ minute drive away.  Visit Tripadvisor to see a list of hotels in Västerås, search for deals and read traveller reviews.

Airport Lounges

There are no pay-per-use lounges at the airport.

WiFi is available at Stockholm Vasteras Airport for a fee. The service is provided by Telia Homerun.

Additionally, there is a computer near Gate 8 that you can use for a fee.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


The airport is well-connected to the bus system.

Flygbussarna airport buses offer scheduled direct service between Vasteras Airport and City Terminal in downtown Stockholm.

Local bus 3 links the airport to Vasteras Central Train station, with departures available every 10 – 15 minutes.

Flixbus connects the airport to Arlanda (Airport), Enköping and Västerås.

Car Rentals
