What to Expect
The small terminal at Tenerife North Airport (code: TFN) primarily handles inter-island and European routes. Facilities include a few eateries and shops, both landside and airside, and free WiFi. Economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Tenerife North Airport
This airport closes nightly, from 11:30 PM until 6:00 AM, so overnight stays are impossible. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are nearby. See the Airport Hotels section below for locations, or read traveller airport reviews for more tips.

Luggage Wrapping – Protect your bags from theft and damage by wrapping them in plastic. Location: Landside, Check-in Area, Floor 0. Rates: unknown. Hours: 5:00 AM – 6:30 PM.
Medical Services – Six Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are available on the landside and airside.
Postal Services – A mailbox is located in the basement, near the car park building.
Pharmacy – The Farmacia is located on the Ground Floor, Arrivals. Hours: Monday – Saturday 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM • Sundays and Holidays are open for on-call duty 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
Bus
City buses 20 and 30 link the airport with a variety of destinations. Route 343 links Tenerife North and South airports in a nonstop 50-minute journey (one way). For fares and more information, visit the Tenerife North Airport website.
