Where to Sleep
- Sleeping in Tuzla airport is not possible. You will be asked to leave the airport and airport property.
- For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels within 20 minutes of the airport, though only one provides airport transfers. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.
In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

If sleeping in Tuzla Airport does not appeal to you, it is best to head back to Tuzla city center (about 20 min north of the airport), as there are no hotels in or near the airport.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Airport shuttle buses offer service between Tuzla Airport and the city center for a fee. If you’re traveling light and on a tight budget, you can take Bus 11 (Tuzla – Dubrave) from the bus stop near the Dubrave Post Office, about a 10 minute walk from the airport.
Car rental services are available at the airport. At the time of this March 2019 update, no further information is available.
Taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport.
