Where to Sleep

The airport is open 5:30AM – 6:00PM (Sun – Fri) • 6:00AM – 5:30PM (Sat). It is not possible to sleep in the airport overnight.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Whangarei Airport is linked to Whangarei CBD via CityLink bus, which stops right outside of the airport terminal.
The following car rental agencies are located in the Baggage Claim area: Avis • Budget • Hertz • Thrifty.
At the time of this update we were able to find only one hotel that provides airport transportation (for a fee): Flames International Hotel.
