What to Expect

Wilmington International Airport consists of a small renovated terminal with a few shops and eateries. WiFi is available and there are electronic charging stations near the gates. There are no private lounges at this airport.

Good to Know

If you have an especially delay, or are otherwise bored, the terminal has a public putting green.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

If sleeping in Wilmington Airport does not appeal to you, there are no hotels directly at the airport, but there are several under 10 minute drive away. ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs, operated by BB&T, are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans.Locations: Landside, by the mailboxes behind the Information Desk • Airside, on the right hand side of the gate area entrance.

Baby Care Facilities – Restrooms both landside and airside offer baby changing facilities. Landside there is a Baby Change Room which includes a chair for nursing.

Baggage Carts – Need a hand with your luggage? Baggage carts (Smarte Carte) are available along the back wall of the baggage claim area. Rate: unknown.

Currency Exchange – Not available.

Duty Free & Shopping – Duty Free is not available. Airside you will find a news/gift kiosk open according to flight schedules.

Food & Drinks – At the time of this update, four restaurants operate at this airport. The Arrivals Lounge/Co Pilot Coffee snack bar/gift shop is located landside, open from 8:00AM – 7:00PM. Radar Bar (Hours: 10:00AM – 6:00PM), Jet Stream Burger Bar (Hours: 10:00AM – 6:00PM) and Wheels Up Pizza (Hours: 4:45AM – last departing flight) are located Airside.

Information Desk – Yes, located in the main lobby. Hours: unknown.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Mobile Charging – Electronics charging stations can be found Airside. Look for the “Plug n, Power Up” signs.

Postal Services – Drop off your last minute postcards at the airport’s mailbox. Location: Atrium of the main terminal.

Putting Green – Practice your game at the airport while waiting for your luggage.
