Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Travel like the locals do! If your load is light, you can travel at a fraction of the price of a taxi by taking a “colectivo” (shared-ride minibus), which pass along a road just a short walk from the airport parking lot.

Prepaid taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. There are four different taxi companies, named by color: Blue, Orange, Red and Green. Stop at the Prepaid Taxi booth in the Arrivals hall to pay for your ride. You will receive a ticket to give to your taxi driver before boarding the taxi. To return to the airport, call “Blue Taxis”. At the time of this January 2018 update, a one-way journey from the airport to the hotel zone takes 45 minutes and costs about 350 Pesos ($24.00 US approximately).
