"it's the only international airport I've ever been to that does not have a place to change money!" - Neil

"The Jose Maria Cordova Int'l Airport is about an hour from Medellin, and is very comfortable, safe and architecturally pleasing in its rural mountain setting-a far cry from Bogota airport!. I don't believe sleeping is possible there because of two things. First of all, the airport usually closes from late night to early morning, since there are no flights at those hours. Secondly, there are very few places to sit. On an unrelated note, it's the only international airport I've ever been to that does not have a place to change money! Make sure you do that before you get here! Otherwise, it's a pleasant place to fly in and out of Colombia. I last fly in to Medellin in March of 2002. Thanks for letting me give some good press about Colombia!"
