City of Derry airport (LDY) is a small airport the services the west of Northern Irelland and the city of Londonderry/Derry.
Ryanair from Britain and a subsidary of British Airways from Dublin in the Republic of Ireland are its main routes.
The first flights out are commuter flights around 0700 I was late getting to the airport but the cooked breakfast of scambled egg and sauage near to the boarding gate smelt delicious.
Bus service to/from the city is limited. On arrival the bus service caters for Ryanair flights I had to get a 8:00 taxi as the next bus was while in departing. I arranged a taxi for the return trip too.
