"Instead of going to a hotel between the hours of 1am and 7am, I decided I'd just hangout at the airport. I was headed to Rota (the island next to Guam) and therefore had to go through customs in Guam, exit the airport, then re-enter to checkin for my Freedom Air flight. Unfortunately, Freedom Air doesn't open it's ticket counter until like 5:30am and there are really only some seats like a flat, stone, circular bench around some plants. Otherwise you must drag ALL YOUR LUGGAGE with you up the escalator to where you'd normally check in with security, but sit in the fast-food-restaurant style tables/chairs. I think the food service was open, but nobody was at the counter. There were bathrooms down a hall that looked like they were more for employees than travelers. Once food service started serving breakfast, there were more people around, otherwise I was the only one.

Having to lug both of my large suitcases, backpack, and laptop bag with me to the restroom was hilarious, as was trying to keep track of all my stuff while standing in line for food and trying to carry food back to my seat.

There's nothing to do in the main lobby area except look at a large fish on display. There is NOWHERE to sleep."
