"On my travels to visit all of the Survivor sites I made my way to Nuku Hiva (in the Marquesas). After landing in Tahiti we boarded a small 30 seater to the island and landed in what would turn out to be "torrential rain" which made it impossible to make our way to the chalet. For more or less a landing strip this place was very comfortable and the security guard even rounded up a few blankets for my girlfriend and I! The place was beautiful (as was the island) and I didn't even mind waiting there for 3 hours the next week when I was returning to St. John's, NFLD. Thanks to all the friendly staff there! You were great!"
