Airport Overview

To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, we are here to give you the low-down on what travellers have reported back to us during their time at Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport.

What to Expect

  • A small single-terminal international airport with limited shopping and dining options. All airport food concessions are open 24 hours!
  • Several reviewers report that the restrooms are not clean, so have toilet paper and hand sanitizer handy, and hope for the best!
  • WiFi is available. See WiFi in the airport guide below.

Where to Sleep

  • Reviewers suggest sleeping on the artificial grass areas underneath the escalators. If you have a sleeping bag or travel mat and blanket, you can also sleep on empty floor space.
  • Have a sleep mask and earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones handy to block out those bright airport lights and overhead announcements!
  • For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels near the airport. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.

Good to Know

  • Economy class passengers can pay to enter the airport’s first class lounge. See Airport Lounges in the airport guide below for locations and rates.
