YOTEL Paris CDG: Sleep Cabins Are Coming To T2!

Are you currently dreading your summertime layover at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport? Fear not! The newest airport YOTEL hotel is here to rescue your weary soul as of July 1st, 2016!

YOTEL airport hotels are trendy micro-suites for transit passengers, currently located at London Heathrow, London Gatwick and Amsterdam Schiphol Airports. You can check in at anytime of day for a minimum of an hour, which gives you access to a bed, a shower, a lounge, and a few treats. Though rates aren’t exactly cheap, the facilities are comfortable and ultra-convenient for those in dire need of a rest.

At YOTEL Paris Charles de Gaulle, there are 80 cabins equipped with en-suite monsoon showers, free Wi-Fi, a work space and multiple types of power sockets. They also have the new YOTEL SmartBeds (Serta gel mattresses) and Smart TVs, which will stream music over Bluetooth.

The Club Lounge is decked out with free hot drinks, comfortable seating and a vending machine wall. They’ve also put in long tables with USB charging ports for independent workers, plush meeting areas with black, white and cork boards, and printing facilities. All guests have access to this space for the duration of their visit.

Price-wise, travelers have a few different options, with rates starting at €15/hour.

  • Wash & Go Shower Cabins: €15 per person, for up to an hour
  • Premium Cabins: from €75 for 4 hours for 2 people in a double bed
  • Family Cabin: from €95 for 4 hours for up to 4 people in a double bed with 2 singles

YOTEL Paris CDG is located inside Terminal 2E satellite L – the Sky Team terminal. As the hotel is located airside, you must have an outbound flight from terminals 2E, F, G, K, L or M.

What do you think about this new addition? Will Yotel help to make Paris CDG Airport more sleep and travel friendly?
