ECN Airport Overview
To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Ercan International Airport.
What to Expect
Ercan Airport (code: ECN) has a small airport that services a few non-stop routes to Turkey. Due to the ongoing political situation here, flights to or from any other destinations must first stop in Turkey. Facilities include a few eateries and shops. Free WiFi is available in designated areas. For added comfort while you wait, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Ercan Airport
The airport quiets down for a few hours, the staff may leave you alone, and padded benches are located on the ground floor. For uninterrupted sleep, the closest hotels are 25-35 minutes away, and some offer shuttle service for a fee. See the Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.
