  • This small terminal is old, and connects to a few regional destinations.

Where to Sleep

  • The airport opens at 8:00AM and closes after the last flight, so sleeping overnight is not possible.
  • As of November 2018, we have no reviews from travellers who have used this airport. Write a review to help future travellers!
  • For uninterrupted sleep, there are hotels within 20 minutes of the airport, though none provide airport shuttle service. See our Airport Hotel section below for more info.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Hotels

If sleeping in Esquel Airport does not appeal to you, it is best to head back into Esquel city center, as there are no hotels at or near the airport. Here are some suggestions based on Tripadvisor reviews:

The airport is open from 8:00 AM until the last flight. Sleeping in the airport overnight is not possible.

Car Rental

Avis has a car rental service desk at the airport.


While there are no taxis available onsite, you can hire a “remis” (privately-owned taxi) on the ground floor, just outside of the airport terminal’s main hall.
