Gladstone Airport (code: GLT) has a single, small terminal with domestic flights to Brisbane. Amenities are limited, but the free WiFi helps pass the time. Sleeping in Gladstone Airport

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.   

Airport Hours

The airport is open from 5:00 AM – 8:30 PM or until the last flight. (Mon-Sat). On Sunday, the airport does not open until 8:00 AM. Airside does not open until 5:30 AM (Mon-Sat) or 8:30 AM (Sun).

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Bus

Buslink Route 502 links GLT airport to Stockland Shopping Centre in Kin Kora, Seaview Heights and Clinton Park. Buses stop outside of Departures. For more information, visit the Buslink website.

Car rental kiosks are found in the main terminal building. The following companies are at the airport: Avis • Budget • Europcar • Hertz • Thrifty.
