If you travel frequently with Qantas Airlines, the Qantas Club may be a pleasant way to enhance what is likely a series of long international flights. As a member, you are granted access to the variety of domestic lounges run by the airline and a series of international lounges run by American Airlines and Emirates. You also receive several special privileges with booking and in the airport, including priority check-in and waitlist, extra baggage, and upgrade access. While an annual guest card is available for purchase, club members will likely be satisfied with their ability to invite one guest into the lounge free of charge in applicable lounges. The guest card enables you to invite a second guest.

Membership Cost

First year membership fees for new members are: A$699 (Australia), NZD$699 (New Zealand) or 116,500 Qantas points. A one-time join fee of AUD$129/NZD$129 or 21,500 Qantas Points applies to all new Qantas Club memberships. Existing members pay: A$629 (Australia), NZD$629 (New Zealand) or 104,900 Qantas points. Discounts on annual fees are provided if you purchase a two or four-year membership.

The annual guest card costs A$449 (Australia) or 74,900 Qantas Points.

Qantas Club Flexible Membership offers a pay-as-you-go membership option that allows access to the same lounges as standard membership but does not include guest privileges. The fee is A$99/NZD$99 every 28 days until cancelled. There is a one-time join fee of AUD$129/NZD$129 or 21,500 Qantas Points applies to all new Qantas Club memberships.

Day Passes

Selected members travelling as an economy-class customer may be lucky enough to receive an invitation to access a lounge.  Complimentary invitations are a single-entry invitation for one person to access a Qantas Club or Qantas-operated International Business Lounge when their next onward flight that day is on a flight with a Qantas or Jetstar flight number.

Be sure to look in your membership portal when you book your next flight; you may be able to enjoy a free lounge visit.

Selected members will receive an email three to five hours before their flight.

Alternatively, single-entry passes are available for purchase on the Qantas website and at the lounge, subject to availability.

More ways to access a Qantas Club

Qantas Frequent Flyer Status: Platinum One, Platinum, or Gold Members: Qantas Frequent Flyer members with Platinum One, Platinum, or Gold status can access Qantas Club lounges, Qantas Domestic and International Business Lounges, and partner lounges when travelling on Qantas, Jetstar, or eligible oneworld flights. These members can also bring one guest (subject to the same travel conditions).

oneworld Frequent Flyer Status: Sapphire or Emerald Status: Members of any oneworld airline’s frequent flyer program with Sapphire or Emerald status (equivalent to Qantas Gold or Platinum/Platinum One) can access Qantas Club lounges and over 650 oneworld lounges worldwide when traveling on a oneworld-operated flight (excluding connect partners like Jetstar). This includes access for one guest on the same flight.

Business or First Class Travel: Qantas or oneworld Flights: Passengers travelling in Business or First Class on Qantas or oneworld airlines (excluding connect partners) can access Qantas Club lounges, Qantas Domestic and International Business Lounges, Qantas International First Lounges (for First Class passengers), and other oneworld lounges when travelling on eligible flights. Guest policies vary by airline and lounge.

Partner Lounge Access via Qantas Flights: Qantas Club members, Platinum One/Platinum/Gold Frequent Flyers, or Business/First Class passengers travelling on Qantas or Jetstar flights can access partner lounges, including:

  • Alaska Airlines lounges (Anchorage, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle).
  • American Airlines Admirals Club lounges (various U.S. airports).
  • Emirates Business Lounge (Dubai).
  • Manaia Lounge (Queenstown, for international Qantas/Jetstar flights).
  • Other oneworld lounges when travelling on oneworld-operated flights.

Digital Membership Card: Qantas Club members and eligible Frequent Flyers can use the Qantas App to display a digital membership card for lounge access, simplifying entry at Qantas and partner lounges.

Qantas Club lounges offer a range of complimentary amenities, including:

  • Food and Beverages: Complimentary snacks, meals, and beverages, including wines, beers, and spirits (offerings vary by lounge).
  • Comfort and Connectivity: Comfortable seating, free Wi-Fi, TVs, newspapers, and magazines.
  • Business Facilities: Workstations and printing services in select lounges.
  • Showers: Available in major lounges, including Sydney (Qantas Club, Domestic Business, International Business, International First), Melbourne (Qantas Club, Domestic Business, International Business, International First), Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and Singapore.
  • Wireless Internet
