Where to Sleep

  • The airport closes at night. Sleeping here overnight is not possible.
  • As of May 2017, we have no reviews from travellers who have used this airport. Write a review to help future travellers!
  • For uninterrupted sleep, there is one hotels near the airport, but it does not provide an airport shuttle. See Airport Hotels in the airport guide below.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

At the time of this update there are no lounges that economy class passengers can pay to use.

Airport Hours

The airport is open from 8:00AM – 7:00PM (Mon-Fri) and 9:00AM – 5:00PM (Sat-Sun). Sleeping in the airport overnight is not possible.


As of February 2018, Odense airport is served by the following airlines: Danish Air Transport.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport


Metered taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area of the airport. At the airport, there are two self-service kiosks available for ordering a taxi. Taxi Fyn offers flat rates between the airport and these cities: Assens • Faaborg • Fredericia • Middelfart • Nyborg • Svendborg.
