In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

Airport Hours

The airport is open from 4:45AM – 10:30PM (Mon-Thu) • 4:30AM – 10:30PM (Fri) 05:00AM – 08:00AM and 12:00PM – 10:30PM (Sun). Closed Saturday. Sleeping in the airport overnight is not possible.

Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz offer car rental services onsite.


Taxis are readily available at the taxi rank located outside of the airport terminal. A one-way journey to/from Örebro city center takes 15 minutes and costs about 300 SEK.
