Osh Airport (code: OSS) has a small terminal that handles flights across the region. Facilities include a 24-hour eatery, a variety of snack bars, vending machines, and free WiFi.

More Services, Facilities & Things To Do On A Layover

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? An ATM, operated by Osh Bank, is available. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: next to sector 2.

Pro-tip: A reader tells us, “the ATMs mentioned are only in the DEPARTURES area, so you have to exit the arrivals area, and reenter the arrivals area to withdraw money. The machines allow a max withdrawal of 2000 som and charge a fee, so only worth withdrawing enough money for a taxi.” (updated by a reader / June 2023)

Baby Care Facilities – A Mother and Child Room is available. The room has everything you need to make it comfortable to care for your child. This room is accessible to adult travellers with children aged seven and under. Entry is free. Location: 2nd Floor of the airport. Hours: Open 24 hours.

Currency Exchange – Bakay Bank has a branch in the airport that provides these services and more. Location: Next to sector 2. Hours: 24 hours. Note: It closes for meal breaks between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Luggage Wrapping – Protect your bags from theft and damage by having them wrapped in plastic. Pack & Fly offers services. Rates: 200 soms per bag. Location: 1st Floor. Hours: 24 hours.

Prayer Rooms – A Mosque has separate rooms available for men and women. Location: right side of the station square, next to the paid parking. Hours: 24 hours.

SIM Cards – A reader tells us SIM cards can be purchased in the arrivals area after luggage collection. “prices are reasonable but they only accept Kyrgyz Som or USD. There are no ATMs or currency exchange in the arrivals area so either come prepared with dollars/som or buy a sim card in town.””(updated by a reader / June 2023)

Buses

The airport is connected to the city via bus with the following two options: No. 107 follows a route along the eastern part of the city • No. 142 follows a route along the western part of the city. Rates: 10 soms.

Taxis are available. You can expect a ride to the city to take approximately 40 minutes and cost (from) 250 soms.
