- This small airport has two terminals: the South Terminal, renovated in the late 1990s, is check-in for all flights, and the newer North Terminal handles flights from non-Schengen zone countries.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.
There are no pay-per-use lounges at the airport.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Yes. Location: Arrival 2 Hall.
Baggage Carts – Need a hand with your luggage? Baggage carts are available free of charge in the Arrivals Hall and Waiting Areas.
Currency Exchange – Medicinos Bankas offers full-service banking and currency exchange. Hours: vary depending on the day of the week, it is always open at 9:00AM and closes at 5:00PM (Tues, Thurs, Sat), 7:00PM (Mon, Fri) or 9:00PM (Wed and Sun).
Drinking Water – Thirsty? In response to traveller complaints about the price of water, the airport sells 0.5l bottled water for €1,00 (or less). Locations: Global Travel Supply Palanga and Café Riktė.
Duty Free & Shopping – It is not known if Duty Free shopping is available. There is a shop both Landside (next to the Cafe) and Airside (next to the Bar).
Food & Drinks – At the time of this update, there are no 24 hour concessions available. Here are the airport options:
- Landside: Cafe – serving food and drinks.
- Airside: Bar – it seems no food is available at this location, plan ahead.
Lost Luggage – Go to the Ground Handling Agency in the passenger terminal.
Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.
Postal Services – Drop off your last minute postcards at the airport’s mailbox. Location: Landside, next to Entrance 2 of the passenger terminal.
Medical First Aid – Report to the Airport Customer Service Office for assistance.

Shopping – Location: 1st floor, near the cafe and Departures Hall, after check-in.

The airport is open from 6:00AM – 11:30PM (Sun-Fri) and 7:30AM – 9:30PM (Sat). Sleeping overnight in the airport is not possible.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
A scheduled bus service links the airport with Klaipeda, Liepaja and Palanga. For routes, maps and schedules, visit the Palanga Airport website.
The following car rental agencies are available onsite: Autocom, Autobanga, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt and Trusticar.
A scheduled shuttle bus service connects the airport to Klaipēda bus station.
Taxis are readily available in front of the airport terminal. Total trip times in one direction: to/from Palanga city center 10 minutes; to/from Klaipēda 30 minutes; to/from Liepāja (Latvia) is 1 hour 20 minutes.
