What to Expect
Piura Airport (code: PIU) has a small, older terminal that handles flights to and from Lima. Despite its size, you’ll find two eateries and a few shops. WiFi is available inside the airport lounge, which economy class passengers can pay to enter. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Piura Airport
The airport closes nightly, from 9:00PM until 7:00AM, so overnight stays are not possible. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer free shuttle service. See the Airport Hotels section below for locations or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.
