Metered taxis are readily available for hire in the ground transportation area. Flat rates are available to/from Central Station, National Museum, Harbor of Reggio Calabria, and Harbor of Villa San Giovanni.
Train
Reggio Calabria Airport is connected to both the Ionian and Tyrrhenian coasts via train service to and from Reggio Calabria Airport Station. The train station is located about 1km from the airport, but those with proof of inbound or outbound flight can take advantage of the free on-call shuttle service between the airport and the train station.
