Moscow Domodedovo Airport
Traveller Comments....
"upstairs - a cozy looking area where you can rent movies and sit on comfy couches to watch them." (KR)
"And the cleaning ladies wake EVERYBODY up, grannies, little kids and all. You are made to get up and walk away while they "secure the area" with red tape and vacuum and scrub. They scream and shout and the noise of the machines is incredible. " (Rosa Vierira de Almeida)

I've traveled many time thru DME and most of the times I've ended up spending the night there.
Moscow definitely is not cheap and so are thee stay options. So sleeping at the airport would be the best thing to do if you have to spend say, 24 hours to the next flight.
There is a rather cheap luggage storage facilty annd good showers...not at all crowded.
The renovated waiting lounges on the 2nd floor have soft cushioned seats andyou can sleep in them because the noise levels there are rather low.
The smoking room(behind the restrooms near the mini gaming-arcade-2nd floor- sector B) ventilation doesnt work, It hasnt worked i guess for the last 4 years.....amusing
1.If you are taking public transport, pick up a take away meal on the way to the airport. There are no stores or cafes outside the airport and the ones inside overcharge(even more expensive than Tokyo Narita) and the portions are "microscopic", though the food is fresh and clean--and tasty(surprising for people who usually travel via sheremetovo).
2.There was a "kartoshka" store next to the exit in front of where the city train stops. They have some nice baked stuffed potatoes: "authentic" Russian fast-food
3.The showers are somewhere near the foyer before the arrivals area.
4.The beer in the wending machines are half as cheap as the ones in the stores selling stuff
So my suggestion when spending the night at DME...load up on the cheap booze and slumber away.
The cleaning ladies will wake you in a gap of 5-6 hours max.
