BUDAPEST TRAIN STATION

"ok, so I speak form experience: NEVER, under any circumstances, think that hungarian Railway Stations are a safe place to sleep. the scum of the society gathers there, and security is corrupt. The Police, in conjunction with some other security forces, tried to steal my money (yes, no joke!) and since they had no luck they put me into jail - and it all lasted for 9 days, until the advocates made light into the situation and all formalities were done. THIS IS NO JOKE! And yes, I spoke to my embassy, but because of the idiot Hungarian law I could not resolve my situation earlier, though my country did take diplomatic action. I couldnt sue the police either, because of some other laws in Hungary that protects them... they didn't even have to come to the trial. I was of course abolished by everything, as I had done nothing, but it was a horror trip. And: the policemen on my case (a nice one, this time) told me that i was the 10th person in this situation, but nevertheless he can't accuse the other policemen, as it is too complicated etc etc...
SO BEWARE! Oh, and if u are on ur way to Romania from there, do not sleep in the railway station of Arad, too! scum gathers there, too, and security is low... best u can have is get robbed..."
