The USO (United Service Organizations) is a private, non-profit organization that provides morale and recreational services to members of the U.S. military and their families.

As one of its services, the USO offers free lounge use in several US airports to active US military members. Amenities in each lounge vary, but visitors generally find comfortable seating, reading material, TV, snacks, and internet access.

Below is a list of the major airports with USO Lounges. There are more locations, but they are on Air Force bases, and we don’t list them here. You can visit the USO website for more information on non-major airport USO locations.

USO Lounge Benefits

Lounge benefits vary greatly across the country. Specific details can be found on the individual lounge pages. In general, you can expect:

  • Snacks
  • Internet
  • Reading material
  • Comfortable seating

USO Lounge Access

The USO Lounges are open to active members of the military and their families free of charge. Donations are welcome.  COVID-19 Update:  lounges may offer limited capacity at this time.
